Our departments
Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.
Blending and Packing Plant
Runs the Yatala grinding, blending and packing operation on three shifts, turning raw materials into finished bagged and bulk products that match the recipe, the specification and the production schedule while keeping dust exposure and plant downtime under control.
Precast Yard
Batches concrete and fabricates reinforcement, prepares moulds, casts, cures, finishes and stores precast elements at Bundamba to the drawings and the Australian Standard, and loads them safely for delivery to site.
Quality and Laboratory
Samples and tests raw materials, batches and finished products, releases product against specification, investigates nonconformances and customer complaints, and maintains the quality management system and its documents so that certification is kept.
Safety, Environment and Permits
Owns the safety and environmental management systems, runs the permit to work office, coordinates incident investigation, hazard analysis, silica exposure monitoring, emergency preparedness and environmental monitoring across all three sites.
Maintenance and Engineering
Keeps the mill, blenders, packers, batch plant, cranes and mobile plant reliable through planned maintenance, breakdown response, isolation and lockout, and small engineering projects, and manages contractors who work on site under permit.
Planning, Stores and Dispatch
Builds and adjusts the weekly production schedule, receives and stores raw materials and packaging, manages finished goods stock, books and loads outbound trucks and keeps the stock records accurate so customers get the right product on the right day.
